What is a LASR?
Leave Activity Summary Report. If your combined working hours are more than 20 hours per week (combining all departments worked at UCSD), a LASR will be generated for you. Number of hours indicated on the LASR tells you how many hours you can be paid for missing a shift due to illness. You may check the status of your accrued hours online at:
My Leave Balances.

Am I able to work if I do not pay my registration fees for UCSD?
No, you must pay registration fees each quarter working. If you pay your fees late, you will be required to present your cashier's receipt to University Centers Personnel office in order to have authorization to work.

What happens if you don't sign your timecard?
If you do not sign your timecard by the time timecards are turned in, you do not get paid for those hours until you sign your time card. This usually means that you will have to wait until the next pay period to be paid.

How do I get a raise?
Your supervisor may request raises anywhere from 4-12 months of your hiring date depending on your job title. All student employees are eligible for casual increases every 12 months for their continued services, at the request of your supervisor. Raises take 2-4 weeks to process once received by Personnel office.
